Nauvoo

We took a trip to Nauvoo to visit my parents who are Missionaries in the temple there. We flew to Chicago, and then took a train to a town outside Nauvoo. This was Cannon's first time on an Airplane, and he was really good. He loved the take off and the landing, but did get a little bored in the middle. Luckily we were able to keep him entertained, and he did fall asleep for a little while.

Ready for take off

Cannon kept getting in everyone's business. He kept reaching over and touching the people's heads in front of us, and then he was flirting with the girls behind us. Whatever keeps him entertained!

This is on the train ride, which he also loved. Luckily, it was easier to walk around on the train, and there was a nice lounge area.

He's ready to get into some kind of mischief

We finally made it after traveling all day!

This was the oxen ride in Nauvoo. Cannon loved petting them

This was on the Carriage ride. Getting Kevin to look normal for pictures is rare

The Carriage ride put Cannon right to sleep

This is Outside the Nauvoo Inn. No, I'm not pregnant, I just got done eating ten plates full of food at the All you can eat buffet, so I looked a little puffy.

He looks like he's smoking but he's still cute

The Mississippi River

Cannon started running out in the river and kept falling under the water. I had to run out and get him because he just kept going out further. This kid has no fear

Ahhh...summer evenings

There's nothing like being able to frolick around naked in the backyard on a nice summer evening (well, according to Cannon anyway)

We aren't too white trash, I mean we haven't let him run around naked in the front yard yet.
